    Schwab Asset Management (SAM) is one of the industry's largest asset managers, dedicated to helping investors achieve their financial goals through a focused lineup of ETFs, mutual funds, separately managed accounts, and multi-asset investment solutions. As part of the Product Management and Innovation team, this role offers the opportunity to directly support the continued growth of Schwab Asset Management's Model Portfolios business while contributing to broader multi-asset investment offerings.

    Reporting to the Senior Manager, Product Strategy and Development, you will play a key role in delivering product-related initiatives that influence business growth, client engagement, and investment solution positioning. Success in this role requires the ability to coordinate multiple priorities while collaborating across product management, sales, distribution, marketing, operations, compliance, and investment teams. You will help drive product enhancements, product launch activities, quarterly and annual reporting, governance and regulatory communications, research initiatives, and data validation efforts that support informed business decisions.

    In addition, you will help create and maintain client-facing materials, marketing collateral, and asset allocation frameworks, that support the firm's distribution strategy and enhance the client experience. As a highly visible individual contributor, you will leverage analytical thinking, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment while contributing to Schwab's mission of helping investors achieve better financial outcomes.

    What you have

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • 3+ years of experience in financial services with demonstrated knowledge of financial markets and investment products
    • Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple deliverables in a deadline-driven environment
    • Strong Analytical Thinking skills with the ability to evaluate information, validate data, identify issues, and support decision-making
    • Proven Attention to Detail when managing reporting, client communications, research, and product-related materials
    • Strong Communication skills, including the ability to create clear written content and effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders
    • Demonstrated Building Collaborative Relationships skills and ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
    • Strong Problem Solving capabilities with the ability to navigate ambiguity and develop practical solutions
    • Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability for high-quality outcomes
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
    • Commitment to delivering a high standard of service and stakeholder support

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Series 7 license
    • Experience supporting investment products, model portfolios, asset allocation strategies, or multi-asset investment solutions
    • Experience creating client-facing presentations, marketing materials, or product positioning content
    • Demonstrated Adaptability in managing changing priorities and evolving business needs
    • Experience supporting product launches, product enhancements, governance activities, regulatory communications, or RFP responses
    • Familiarity with investment research, portfolio analytics, or product development processes

    In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
