The individual will become involved in all technical aspects of the design and development activities of power supply technologies. The candidate needs to have excellent project management skills and capable of managing budgets and schedules as well as managing outsource vendors.\n \nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\n \nIncludes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):\n\n Manage products through their entire lifecycle until product EOL, including: new technology survey, Product positioning statement, sales training materials, feature & function benefit summaries, RMAs, etc.\n Direct all activities of the Power Supply Division to ensure the consistent with principles of resource and required reliability.\n Ensure the activities of the Power Supply Division meet all required operating practices and responsibilities of the power supply adequacy and security. \n Creating product specifications and positioning documents, conducting tactical competitive analysis, and critical situation management\n Drive quality improvements by eliminating sources of defects in the design, new product introduction, and manufacturing processes\n Overall responsibility for coordination of operational activities associated with the introduction of a new product worldwide, and Factory Product Readiness\n Utilize metrics to improve new product introduction process and product quality at launch\n Ensure Operations achieves Ready to Ship Release and transitions into production/sustaining\n Define requirements for product enhancements\n \nQualifications:\n\n BS/MS in mechanical, electrical, or computer engineering or equivalent is desirable\n 2+ years of experiences in chassis, computer, or server related products is preferred\n Demonstrates strong organization and planning skills, ability to lead cross-functional team to complete a product/project from development stage\n Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment\n Strong understanding of Server/PC market trends and customer needs\n Ability to lead extended teams and meet deadlines\n Excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship building, collaboration within a diverse and cross-functional team\n* Travel to meet with customer is required for this position (around 20%)\n \nSalary Range\n \n$88,000 - $125,000 \n \nThe salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
