Job Details

We are seeking an experienced AI Product Manager / Product Owner with strong financial domain expertise to help build and scale a next-generation financial platform for high-growth and private equity-backed businesses.

This role sits at the intersection of:

  • Finance (FP&A, cash flow, reporting)
  • Product (ownership, roadmap, delivery)
  • Data & AI (ETL, automation, forecasting)

You will partner closely with:

  • Business stakeholders (CFOs, operators)
  • Engineering and data teams
  • Internal consulting teams

This is a highly cross-functional role focused on building scalable, data-driven financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Delivery
  • Own and manage the product backlog, user stories, and priorities for financial platform initiatives
  • Define product vision and roadmap aligned with business and client needs
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories
  • Drive delivery through Agile/Scrum processes (sprint planning, backlog grooming, UAT, releases)

Finance + Domain Expertise
Bring strong understanding of:
  • Cash flow forecasting (ideally 13-week cash flow)
  • FP&A workflows and reporting

Ensure financial outputs and tools align with:
  • Business needs
  • Accuracy and compliance requirements
  • Data, AI & Technology

Partner with engineering and data teams on:
  • ETL processes and data pipelines
  • Financial data integration (ERP, banking, APIs)

Support development of:
  • AI-driven forecasting tools
  • Automation of financial workflows
  • Work with cloud-based systems (AWS, Azure, GCP) to enable scalable solutions

Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Act as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams

Collaborate with:
  • Finance teams
  • Engineering
  • Data / analytics teams
  • Gather and refine requirements from internal and external stakeholders

Implementation & Optimization
  • Support data integration, migration, and modernization initiatives

Ensure product solutions:
  • Meet business objectives
  • Scale effectively across clients

Drive continuous improvement of:
  • Reporting
  • Forecasting
  • Financial processes

Required Qualifications
Strong experience as a:
  • Product Owner / Product Manager / Business Analyst

Must have experience in the:
  • Financial domain (FP&A, accounting, consulting, fintech, etc.)

Solid understanding of:
  • ETL processes, data pipelines, and data integration

Experience working with:
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Strong knowledge of:
  • Agile / Scrum methodology

Ability to:
  • Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in:
  • Fintech, financial platforms, or consulting environments
  • Startup or high-growth companies

Exposure to:
  • AI / machine learning applications in finance
  • Financial modeling / cash flow forecasting

Experience with:
  • ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, etc.)
  • BI / analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau)
