Description An Engineered Wood Product Manager is a key role within Weyerhaeuser's Product Management team and reports to the Senior Product Manager in the Sales Enablement organization. In this role, the Product Manager leverages an advanced understanding of engineered wood technology, market needs and is an integral resource for product development and management. They provide input, set direction and have an excellent understanding of business fundamentals to maintain a focus on critical product management initiatives. To be successful in this role, a product manager must have excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, as well as a strong understanding of product development processes, market dynamics, and customer behavior. They must also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and be comfortable managing multiple products simultaneously. Physical Job Location: The preferred location is Seattle Headquarters, Atlanta, GA or Hot Springs, AR. Consideration will be given to those that are located in a state that Weyerhaeuser operates in: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Key Responsibilities: Manages a portfolio of products and services. while supporting the development and implementation of enhanced or new products that align with the company''s overall goals Partnering with customers, sales, engineering and manufacturing to identify customer needs, preferences, and pain points, and using this information to develop market outlooks that drive product mix, segment, channel, and geographic sales and manufacturing plans. Identifying and assessing key business drivers, product requirements, relevant market trends and emerging opportunities and risks for building products. Monitoring product performance and conducting ongoing market analysis to identify opportunities for new product opportunities. Proactively developing actionable insights and recommendations that inform and shape our strategies using analytical tools and models leveraging internal and external data sources that drive recommendations to improve competitive positioning.
