Description and Requirements
About the Position
As a North American Consumer Product Manager, you will define and execute an Omni-Channel product vision for North American Consumers including the end-to-end portfolio planning for Lenovo's Consumer Chrome products. You will own competitive analysis, product requirements, feature prioritization, product level P&L analysis and product positioning in the consumer market for North America and work in close partnership with cross-functional teams with Sales, Business Management, Marketing, Supply/Demand planning and WW Business Units to create a profitable portfolio that is compelling to end-user consumers and Omni-channel partners.
This position has a hybrid schedule based out of Morrisville, NC with 3 onsite and 2 remote days per week and includes a traveling expectation of up to 30%.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and Execute an Omni-Channel product vision for North American Consumers including the end-to-end portfolio planning for Lenovo's Consumer Chrome products.
- Prioritize and gather data from customer pain-points, consumer market intelligence, partner requirements, financial goals and route opportunity to ensure data-driven decisions are made.
- Manage Product level P&L including forecasting Units, Revenue and Profit and establishing List Pricing.
- Own go-to-market strategy, set and communicate expectations for execution across the Omni-channel.
- Work cross-functionally to create and implement a plan to sell Lenovo products with our Sales team, Account Planners, marketing, and other internal parties at Lenovo.
- Communicate and pitch our product plans and strategies to our Retail partners directly.
- Focus on Customer Experience and Consumer purchase experience with BU, marketing, sales and retail partners.
- Help redefine the internal process for forecasting and ordering to allow for on-time product launches as dictated by market dynamics.
- Work with Sales, S/D and Account Planning to map the product lifecycle to maximize sales and reduce liability.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of product management and marketing experience with Omni-channel selling in the Consumer IT industry
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of Experience working with Consumer Electronic Products in NA market.
- 5+ years of experience analyzing complex data sets and driving business decisions.
- 7+ years of Experience supporting GTM planning.
- Experience working with P&L statements.
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools: MS Dynamics, PowerPoint, Excel
- Experience presenting to internal business stakeholders and partners, as well as Executives and External groups.
- Ability to share credit for work and to partner with stakeholders across verticals: Sales, Business Management, Marketing, Supply/Demand planning and WW Business Units.
- MBA or advanced education a plus.
- PMP or Agile Scrum certification a plus.
The base salary budgeted range for this position is $135-145k. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. This position has a hybrid schedule based out of Morrisville, NC with 3 onsite and 2 remote days per week and includes a traveling expectation of up to 30%.
