* We’re supporting a high-growth client in the creator economy space that is transforming how mission-driven organizations connect with creators and audiences. They are seeking a design-minded Product Manager who thrives at the intersection of product strategy, execution, and user experience. This opportunity is ideal for someone who loves building intuitive digital experiences, partnering closely with engineering teams, and translating business needs into polished, high-impact product solutions.

This opportunity is structured as a 1099/LLC consulting engagement supporting a 6-month client project, with strong potential for extension based on business needs and performance. The role is hybrid in Alexandria, VA, requiring onsite collaboration four days per week with Fridays remote.*

As a Product Manager (Consultant) for AG Consulting Partners, a typical day might include the following:

  • Own end-to-end delivery of product initiatives across creator experience, campaign management, advertiser tools, analytics, and internal workflows.
  • Write clear PRDs with detailed requirements, acceptance criteria, edge-case coverage, and business logic.
  • Manage sprint planning, backlog prioritization, ticket grooming, bug triage, release planning, and QA coordination.
  • Create and iterate on wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and interface concepts in Figma.
  • Drive UX decisions around information architecture, interaction models, usability, and interface copy.
  • Partner daily with engineering to scope work, remove blockers, and support high-quality product releases.
  • Translate complex business rules, including campaign eligibility, attribution, and results-based payouts, into clear product requirements.
  • Participate in creator interviews, usability testing, and feedback sessions to validate designs and uncover product opportunities.
  • Define, track, and monitor product metrics such as activation, conversion, creator retention, and campaign performance.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Creator Success, Execution, Product, Design, and Engineering.
  • Improve internal tooling and operational workflows to increase efficiency, data integrity, and team visibility.

This job is for you if:

  • You have strong product ownership instincts
  • You naturally think about the user experience, business impact, and engineering feasibility all at once—and know how to balance all three.
  • You are design-minded
  • You notice friction quickly. You care deeply about UX details, intuitive workflows, strong visual hierarchy, and polished user interactions.
  • You are highly execution-focused
  • You move quickly, make decisions confidently, and keep momentum high without sacrificing quality.
  • You communicate with clarity
  • You can simplify complex requirements for technical and non-technical audiences and create alignment across teams.
  • You thrive in ambiguity
  • You’re comfortable building structure where none exists and enjoy solving problems without perfect information.
  • You are collaborative and low ego
  • You work well across teams, value feedback, and understand that great products are built through strong partnerships.
  • You are proactive and solutions-oriented
  • You identify blockers early, bring recommendations—not just problems—and keep projects moving forward.
  • You care about outcomes
  • You focus on shipping valuable solutions, learning quickly, and continuously improving the product experience.

Requirements

You have:

  • 2–4+ years of Product Management, UX/Product Design, or related consulting experience
  • Strong proficiency in Figma, including wireframes, flows, prototypes, and UX iteration
  • Experience writing clear product requirements and managing execution from concept to release
  • Strong understanding of software development processes, APIs, data models, and technical tradeoffs
  • Experience managing backlogs and delivery cadences using tools like Jira, Linear, Asana, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with product analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, or equivalent
  • Excellent executive communication skills across written, verbal, and presentation formats
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative startup or consulting environment
  • Comfort working onsite in Alexandria, VA four days per week
  • Authorization to work for any U.S. employer without visa sponsorship now or in the future

You might also have:

  • A design portfolio that showcases UX thinking, Figma prototypes, wireframes, user flows, and examples of strong product design decision-making is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in creator economy, marketplace, adtech, SaaS, or startup environments
  • Consulting experience supporting high-growth product organizations
  • Experience working with campaign management platforms, advertiser tools, or creator workflows
  • Strong exposure to growth metrics, funnel optimization, and product-led experimentation
