As the Product Life Cycle & Master Data Management Leader you will be responsible and accountable for product portfolio management, will oversee NPI, PIPO process with reference to supply chain interventions and manage material master. You will drive operational excellence & provide a robust statistical analysis on portfolio management for timely decision making ensuring zero obsolescence during PIPO process execution and supply chain readiness NPI projects in region with ensuring adherence to master data management, BOM management process. You will coordinate cross-functional research activities and reconcile significant variances for its reduction and work on mitigation actions deployment and execution.
Your responsibilities will be the following:
Demand Management
Responsible for demand forecasting & product life cycle management using specific tool (e.g. o9 - Demand Planning)
Statistical Analyst & Reporting''s through o9, PowerBi, PowerPoint presentations
Analyze demand, ask questions, investigate, challenge demand forecast based on historical data, seasonality, market trends, external events, etc.
Manage and prepare statistical forecasts: gather, analyze and validate data
Apply error analysis techniques to improve forecasting
Check weekly demand vs sold capacity, demand variation vs tolerance and escalate deviations in view of portfolio management
Work with Sales Manager, Customer Desk Specialist, plant supply chain, inventory planner during NPI, PIPO process for E&O control, supply chain readiness
Analyze gap and seek convergence of short term / long term forecast
Propose statistical analysis based - demand arbitrated volumes and its validation with customer desk, sales team
Proactively monitor the demand and raise the flag in case of risks (demand variations)
Use MAPE and BIAS for demand analysis and take actions to improve forecast accuracy
Demand Accuracy
Weekly check MAPE and BIAS at PN level;
One Team: Discuss and align assumptions with CM at required & meaningful level.
Continuous Improvements: Follow defined standards and guidelines. Propose and implement improvements.
Check and address with improvement top offenders
Internal Alignment and Collaboration
GEM deployment and its substance for business process excellence
Drive annual SDP process and coordinate and lead key project through six sigma principles
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Customer Desk Specials, Sales Team for product life cycle management
Ensure adherence to standard demand planning, PIPO, NPI process for meet assigned functional KPIs viz. MAPE, BIAS, Inventory, E&O, Premium Freight
Actively participates in weekly demand planning, SIOP meetings with ensuring successful completion of assigned deliverables
Lead, support & report statistical analysis on demand forecast and related KPIs
Follow-up and adjust arbitrated demand in case change of references (dash change; phase in/phase out) to avoid excess and obsolete.
MDM Leader
Coordinate the virtual team of data stewards
Participates to monthly internal meetings with MDM team to keep up to date with current processes / procedures, to communicate encountered issues and to identify improvements opportunities
Ensure that data policies and standards turn into practice
Help the MDM team to establish data quality metrics, reporting, to create data quality audits, controls, procedures, and policies
Ensure and oversee BOM management activities
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related areas required
Minimum 5~10 years of relevant experience in demand planning or customer service, sales and supply chain
Previous experience in the automotive industry preferred (OEM, Tier-I)
Key Skills and Knowledge
Proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts
Strong analytical skills
ERP tools viz o9, SAP skills required and other software related to demand planning preferred
Experienced with MS Office (Excel advanced, PowerPoint, PowerBi etc.)
Presentation and communication skills
