Located in Miamisburg, Ohio, we are looking for an innovative and detail-oriented professional to facilitate the transition of innovative prototypes to full production in a bustling manufacturing environment. This role is integral to our operations, ensuring the seamless transition from design to mass production through comprehensive process development and implementation.
Your dynamic role will frequently position you on the manufacturing floor, championing the product life cycle from initial design to final rollout. You'll be a pivotal player in executing Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), managing Process Flow, and ensuring high standards via Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Control Plans, and Work Instructions.
Responsibilities encompass ensuring effective Production Part Approval Processes (PPAP), spearheading process validation activities like Cp/Cpk studies, Run-at-Rate, and Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA). Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to drive tool and fixture development and to refine manufacturing processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
- 4-7 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering
- Proficiency with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Strong grasp of process validation and familiarity with GD&T
- Preference for experience in CNC machining, metal manufacturing, and Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma
