You will be responsible for testing and validating server systems, including hardware, firmware, and software, to ensure performance and reliability. This role involves troubleshooting issues, running system tests, and supporting product readiness through documentation and collaboration with engineering teams.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesRespond to networking, HW, FW, and application related questions from customersWrite and perform the Python or Shell scripts to test server hardwareWrite monitor program for Cluster/Rack performance and healthWrite engineering documentation such as test-sop, test-procedures and design documentsConduct functional and compatibility testing on various operating systems such as Linux, Unix, and WindowsPerform server configuration and system performance analysisPerform system and other hardware functional testing using internal software toolsDebug hardware/software problem which caused by hardware or firmwareAssist engineering sample preparation and functional validationEstablish pre-pilot-run environment and use it to review the product before pilot runQualificationsBS/MS degree in EE or equivalent preferred1+ years of Linux administration skills with proven troubleshooting and optimization skills preferredExcellent automation/scripting skills: Bash, Perl, PythonExperience with GPU setup and validation processStrong experience with Linux/Unix test environmentFamiliar with TCP/IP protocol stack, UDP, IPv4-IPv6, DNS, DHCP and other Application-level protocolsFamiliar with HPC, networking architecture. Knowledge of REST API interfacesExperience with Visualization technology and cloud computing, such as VMware, vSphere and Openshift/OpenStackWorking independently under aggressive timelinessSalary Range$89,000 - $94,000The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
