With a small, highly skilled team, it offers a fast-paced startup environment, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to make a direct impact on healthcare.Job DescriptionReporting directly into the CTO, you will be responsible for the following:Collaborate with surgeons to obtain their feedback on company's spinal implant designs.Improve implant and instrument design and usability.Participate in labs and operating room observations to optimize ergonomics, usability, and workflow.Create CAD models incorporating biomechanics and design-for-manufacturing principles.Manage timelines, risks, and cross-functional communication across engineering, quality, regulatory, and manufacturing.Support design verification and validation activities, including mechanical testing, FEA, and usability assessments.Maintain design documentation such as DHF, specifications, drawings, and risk files.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
