Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with R&D teams to achieve project goals.
Conduct supplier and component evaluations and qualifications.
Manage prototype builds and ensure accurate assembly process documentation.
Maintain and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) and product costs.
Support product transfer projects and identify alternative materials for risk mitigation.
Ensure an adequate supply of purchased components and qualify necessary tooling and equipment.
Address quality issues and manage product labeling.
Identify and implement cost improvements.
Requirements
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively and lead initiatives.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
Experience in root cause analysis and technical writing.
Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder).
Preferences
Experience in the Medical Device industry, particularly in Manufacturing, Design, or Quality Engineering.
1-10 years of experience in an engineering, scientific R&D, or manufacturing environment.
Master of Science in Engineering or a related scientific discipline.
