SUMMARY: The Product Engineer I is responsible for the design of new and existing products. The individual must consider manufacturing capabilities, available machinery, material characteristics, quality programs, customer specifications, and can making standards throughout the process. The Product Engineer will work closely with Product Planning to ensure accurate BOMs and work centers. Commitment to and support of the Company Core Values are key to success in this position.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: B.S. Degree in an Engineering discipline from an ABET accredited College and 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; including co-op and internship experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and other employees.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
