Summary:
As a Planning and Reliability Engineer, you will develop and execute test plans and processes for the Utility Vehicle PVV (Product Verification & Validation) Department. You will manage testing programs, working closely with Electrical and Mechanical designers and suppliers to ensure program processes are tracked and communicated effectively.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate testing and analysis work for design projects varying in complexity from component only to complete development programs.
  • Operate in a team environment within PV&V (Product Verification and Validation) and the Design Engineering community.
  • Lead and execute comprehensive PV&V plans encompassing virtual analysis, laboratory testing, and field validation, ensuring timely completion of all activities.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work done by PV&V engineers, lab technicians, and mechanics for evaluation of machine performance/reliability to product specifications.
  • Provide technical support to marketing, product engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply management functional areas.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering or equivalent knowledge.
  • Technical experience with development and/or verification testing of products.
  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Self-directed individual with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret, analyze, and present technical information using practical judgment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
 
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with data analysis and/or product verification/validation testing.
  • Knowledge of Utility Vehicles and their applications.
  • Experience with systematic corrective action processes (PDCA, 8D, 5 Why, etc.).
 
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $41.89 - $41.89/hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
