We provide high-quality primary care tailored to meet the needs of our patients through our robust care model and comprehensive care team, delivering care in our clinics and across settings, and wrapping resources around the patients who need them most.About the Role We are looking for a Product Engineer, Care Delivery to help design and build the next generation of operational and AI-powered tools that support care delivery across our clinics.This role sits at the intersection of care model operations, product management, and the data and AI platform teams. You will work closely with frontline clinical and operational teams to understand workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and rapidly build software solutions that enhance how care is delivered.You will leverage shared data infrastructure, platform capabilities, and AI infrastructure developed by our data and AI platform teams to create workflow applications and operational tooling that drive meaningful outcomes for frontline care teams.Tools you build may include Care team-facing workflow applications that support value based care initiativesAI-assisted tools that automate administrative work in clinics or enhance clinical decision-makingEmbedded workflows within our EHR ecosystemLightweight standalone applications that improve operational efficiencyInternal tools that help care teams coordinate, prioritize, and deliver longitudinal patient careThis is a highly cross‑functional, high‑agency role for someone who enjoys moving quickly, working closely with end users, and building thoughtful software that solves real operational problems.You will partner closely with Product Management on prioritization, workflow discovery, and problem definition, while maintaining significant ownership over technical design, implementation, and delivery.Responsibilities Partner closely with care teams, operational leaders, and product managers to understand workflows and identify opportunities for improvementDesign, build, and deploy high-quality applications and workflow tooling that support clinic operations and care deliveryLeverage internal platform capabilities, data assets, APIs, and AI infrastructure to rapidly prototype and productionize new solutionsBuild user‑facing experiences that are intuitive, reliable, and deeply integrated into clinical workflowsDevelop AI‑enhanced operational tools that reduce administrative burden and improve care team effectivenessTranslate ambiguous operational challenges into scalable technical solutionsIterate quickly based on user feedback and operational outcomesCollaborate with Data and AI Platform teams to shape reusable platform primitives and workflow capabilitiesContribute to the evolution of our internal tooling ecosystem and operational technology strategyHelp establish best practices for rapidly building and deploying workflow applications in a healthcare environmentAbout You You are a high-agency builder who enjoys owning problems end-to-endYou are energized by working closely with users and embedding deeply within operational workflowsYou have strong product intuition and care about building polished, usable softwareYou thrive in fast‑paced startup environments with evolving priorities and ambiguityYou are comfortable balancing speed, pragmatism, and technical qualityYou enjoy collaborating across technical and non‑technical teamsYou are excited about applying AI capabilities to real‑world operational challengesYou care about building systems that meaningfully improve how healthcare is deliveredCultural Perspective Accountable. The plan will change and the priorities will shift – you make smart calls with what you have and course‑correct with good judgement when things evolve.Additional Qualifications 3+ years of experience building customer‑facing or operational software applicationsBackground in software engineering, computer science, or a related technical fieldExperience building full‑stack applications or workflow tooling in modern development environmentsFamiliarity with APIs, data platforms and models, and integrating across multiple systemsAbility to independently design and implement technical solutions with limited oversightStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience working in high‑growth or fast‑moving environments preferredExperience in healthcare, care delivery, or other operationally intensive service industries is a plusFamiliarity with AI‑enabled applications, LLM workflows, or agentic systems is a plusBenefits & Compensation In accordance with the Illinois Pay Transparency Act, we're providing the full salary range for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on location, relevant experience and qualifications. Most offers will fall within a portion of the listed range. This position has a salary range of $120,000 – $150,000 annually, based on location, relevant experience and qualifications.
