DescriptionMittera is looking for a Product Engineer to join our growing team! As a Product Engineer in our collectible card manufacturing division, you will be responsible for engineering, optimizing, and documenting all production processes from initial printing through final pack-out. This key role bridges technical production knowledge with business operations, working directly with the estimating team to establish accurate pricing and templates.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEngineer comprehensive production workflows for collectible card manufacturing, ensuring quality, efficiency, and scalabilityDocument all process specifications in clear, detailed technical documentationDevelop and maintain printing specifications including color management, registration, and quality control parametersDesign and optimize card finishing processes including cutting, sorting, and specialty treatmentsCreate detailed pack-out specifications for various product configurationsCollaborate with the estimating department to develop accurate pricing models and templatesAnalyze production data to identify improvements and cost reduction opportunitiesTroubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actionsStay current with industry innovations and implement process improvementsRequired Skills and AbilitiesHistory of engineering, manufacturing, or related field5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in printing or paper productsStrong understanding of commercial printing processes and finishing operationsExperience with process documentation and specification developmentKnowledge of quality control methodologies and measurement systemsExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsStrong communication abilities, both written and verbalExperience with production estimating and costing preferredFamiliarity with collectible card production a plusSkills & CompetenciesMeticulous attention to detailProcess optimization mindsetProject management capabilitiesTechnical writing proficiencyCross-functional collaborationData analysis and interpretationCAD/CAM software familiarityUnderstanding of lean manufacturing principlesBenefitsMedicalDentalVisionLife and AD&D PoliciesShort and Long-Term Disability401K with Company MatchPaid Time OffPaid Volunteer Time OffMittera is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
