What You'll Do
Serve as the technical subject matter expert for drives, motors, gearmotors, and soft starters
Evaluate, test, and validate new automation products and technologies
Develop sample applications and demonstration projects
Support new product introductions, technical documentation, training, and product lifecycle management
Partner with suppliers to assess product offerings, technology roadmaps, and support capabilities
Drive quality improvements and cost-reduction initiatives
Provide advanced technical support to internal teams and customers
Collaborate across engineering, product management, marketing, and supplier organizations
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent industry experience
7+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls, system integration, product support, or product development
Strong experience with AC/DC drives, motors, gearmotors, or motion control technologies
Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, servos, encoders, and industrial communication protocols
Experience evaluating, troubleshooting, testing, and applying automation products
Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills
Experience with UL, CSA, CE, RoHS, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks is a plus
