Product Development Specialist

In-Office | Clearwater

About the Role

We are looking for a Product Development Specialist to support sourcing and product development initiatives across our growing product portfolio. This role is focused on coordinating supplier communications, managing product development timelines, tracking samples and quotations, and ensuring sourcing projects stay organized and on schedule.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and an interest in product development, sourcing, and global supply chain operations who wants to grow within a fast-paced ecommerce brand.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct supplier and manufacturer research to identify potential sourcing partners across global markets

  • Assist with supplier outreach, follow-up communications, and relationship management

  • Track and organize supplier quotations, product specifications, and sample requests

  • Coordinate sample shipments, monitor delivery timelines, and collect feedback from internal teams

  • Maintain sourcing databases, supplier records, and project documentation for accuracy and organization

  • Support supplier evaluations through price comparisons and basic cost analysis

  • Monitor supplier timelines and follow up to ensure samples, quotations, and production milestones are completed on schedule

  • Collaborate with Product Development and Quality teams to track product requirements, approvals, and project status

  • Prepare sourcing reports and provide updates on supplier progress, timelines, and outstanding action items

  • Help identify and escalate sourcing delays, risks, or issues that may impact project timelines

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and data tracking tools

  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and problem-solving abilities
