Design Innovative Products from Concept to Production

Are you passionate about creating products that move from an idea on a whiteboard to a finished product in the hands of customers? We are seeking a Product Development Engineer to play a key role in the design, validation, and launch of innovative composite and multi-component products.

This is a highly visible, hands-on engineering position where you'll work closely with manufacturing, suppliers, customers, and cross-functional teams to develop robust, production-ready solutions. If you enjoy solving complex engineering challenges, improving product performance, and seeing your designs come to life, this opportunity is for you.

What You'll Do

Solve Real Engineering Challenges

  • Design and evaluate:
  • Gaskets, O-rings, and sealing systems
  • Valves and caps
  • Fasteners and attachment methods
  • Pressure-containing assemblies
  • Ensure products meet performance, durability, and reliability requirements.

Validate & Improve Products

  • Develop test plans and validation strategies.
  • Support leak, pressure, burst, torque, and durability testing.
  • Analyze results, identify root causes, and implement design improvements.
  • Conduct tolerance stack-ups, material evaluations, DFMEAs, and engineering risk assessments.

Collaborate Across the Organization

  • Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Tooling, Purchasing, Operations, Program Management, suppliers, and customers.
  • Support prototype builds, production trials, engineering changes, and PPAP activities.
  • Present technical solutions and project updates during design reviews and customer meetings.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience developing composite assemblies or multi-component products.
  • Experience integrating molded plastic components with purchased hardware.
