Product Delivery Manager - Palantir Foundry & Grid Resiliency
Contract (1 Year + Possible Extension)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Product Delivery Manager to lead the delivery, operational support, and continuous enhancement of our Grid Resiliency portfolio, with a focus on PSPS applications built on the Palantir Foundry platform. This role requires strong technical acumen, delivery leadership, stakeholder management, and operational oversight to ensure reliable, scalable, and compliant application services across the enterprise.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex data platform initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams, driving Agile/DevOps delivery practices, and supporting enterprise-scale application systems in high-availability environments.
Key Responsibilities
Product Delivery & Operational Management:
- Lead ongoing operational support and delivery management for Grid Resiliency and PSPS applications within the Palantir Foundry ecosystem.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of enhancements, operational support activities, and production stability.
- Manage application lifecycle activities across planning, delivery, support, and continuous improvement phases.
- Drive Agile and DevOps-based delivery practices across enterprise support and development teams.
- Ensure alignment of delivery activities with business priorities, operational timelines, and regulatory requirements.
Platform & Application Oversight:
- Oversee implementation, configuration, enhancement, and maintenance of Palantir Foundry applications and associated platform components.
- Support development and governance of pipelines, ETL processes, ontology models, dashboards, automations, and integrations.
- Ensure application systems are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Collaborate with technical teams to optimize pipeline execution, resource utilization, and application performance within Foundry's distributed execution environment.
- Coordinate application access, infrastructure dependencies, and third-party integrations with cloud and infrastructure service providers.
Governance & Architecture Coordination:
Partner with architecture and engineering teams to support:
Ontology design and governance
Pipeline and DAG execution architecture
Integration patterns and deployment lifecycle management
Application and hosting infrastructure alignment
Ensure adherence to operational governance, change management, and compliance standards.
Support documentation and maintenance of methodologies, operational procedures, OLAs, RACIs, and support models.
Incident & Service Management:
- Lead operational issue management, escalation coordination, and stakeholder communication during incidents.
- Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Participate in on-call coordination and operational readiness activities as required.
- Drive continual service improvement and application portfolio optimization initiatives.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure services are delivered in accordance with PSPS wildfire guidelines and CPUC regulatory standards.
- Monitor operational metrics, compute consumption, storage utilization, and workload efficiency using Foundry Resource Management capabilities.
- Provide reporting, cost analysis, and optimization recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical & Delivery Skills:
- Strong experience in product delivery, application management, or technical program management.
- Solid understanding of software engineering, data platforms, and enterprise application support models.
- Experience working with Palantir Foundry or similar enterprise data platforms.
- Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL processes, distributed systems, and cloud-based architectures.
- Working knowledge of Python and TypeScript development environments.
- Experience managing Agile/DevOps delivery processes and cross-functional technical teams.
- Ability to balance operational support, delivery timelines, and strategic priorities.
Operational & Leadership Skills:
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage complex operational workflows and high-priority production issues.
- Experience making delivery and architectural trade-off decisions in fast-paced environments.
- Strong problem-solving, risk management, and escalation management capabilities.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous and high-pressure operational settings.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical Experience
- Experience in data engineering, analytics platforms, or enterprise data management initiatives.
- Familiarity with Foundry Pipeline Builder, Code Repositories, Data Connection tools, and Foundry Workshop.
- Understanding of ontology design, data lineage, and impact analysis.
- Experience supporting large-scale cloud and SaaS-based enterprise platforms.
- Knowledge of workload optimization and platform resource management.
Domain Experience
- Experience within utility, energy, or Grid Resiliency programs is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with wildfire mitigation initiatives and regulated operational environments is a plus.
