Here, you will find a culture guided by inclusion, talented peers, comprehensive benefits and career development opportunities. Come make an impact on the communities we serve as you help us advance health optimization on a global scale. Join us to start Caring. Connecting. Growing together.

The Product Analyst will support Optum"s Transplant Solutions business and growth of the Managed Transplant Program (MTP) - a full-insured transplant policy sold nationwide to self-funded employer groups. The Product Analyst works with multiple internal and external stakeholders across employer renewals, new business quoting, and operational execution. This role is responsible for helping manage high-volume renewal and RFQ activity, maintaining accurate Salesforce records, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting scalable processes as the business grows. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, responsive, comfortable working independently, and able to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

This position is Hybrid with expectation of 3 days in the Eden Prairie, MN office or as business requires.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • New Business Quoting and RFQ Support

  • Support the end-to-end new business quoting process for MTP and related product offerings, including RFQ intake, data validation, coordination, tracking, and proposal support

  • Triage incoming quoting requests, identify and resolve missing information, and help ensure timely turnaround to meet Sales, broker, and client deadlines

  • Partner with Sales, Product, Underwriting, and operations teams to resolve questions, address data gaps, and move opportunities through the quoting workflow

  • Use Salesforce to track RFQ activity, maintain accurate records, monitor pipeline status, and support reporting needs

  • Identify opportunities to improve quoting workflows, reduce manual effort, and strengthen the broker/client experience

  • Renewal Operations and Process Ownership

  • Own and support key components of the employer renewal process across a large book of business, ensuring renewal activity is accurate, timely, and well-coordinated

  • Monitor renewal status, identify bottlenecks or at-risk accounts, and escalate issues as needed to protect service levels and client commitments

  • Coordinate offshore and internal resources supporting renewal production, including workload assignment, follow-up, quality review, and issue resolution

  • Partner with Account Management, Sales, Product, and Operations teams to support retention goals and ensure a consistent renewal experience

  • Document and improve renewal procedures to increase consistency, efficiency, and scalability

  • Stakeholder Communication and Product Support

  • Communicate professionally with brokers, consultants, employer clients, and internal partners to clarify requests, resolve issues, and support timely execution

  • Represent MTP externally with clear, accurate, and service-oriented communication

  • Translate operational, renewal, and quoting details into clear updates for stakeholders

  • Maintain a high level of responsiveness and follow-through across multiple concurrent priorities

  • Workflow, Systems, and Process Improvement

  • Manage a high volume of work across renewals and quoting while balancing deadlines, urgency, and business priorities

  • Act as a coordination point for incoming requests, ensuring work is routed, tracked, and completed appropriately

  • Maintain data quality, documentation, and audit readiness in Salesforce and related tools

  • Recommend process improvements based on request volume, turnaround times, stakeholder feedback, and recurring operational issues

  • Support business growth and product expansion, including increased demand related to newly launched ancillary products including the CAR-T risk product (the Managed Cell Therapy Program)

You"ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in employee health benefits, insurance operations, healthcare operations, sales operations, or a related field
  • Experience working in Salesforce or a similar CRM
  • Proven solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder requests at the same time
  • Proven ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and follow through in a high-volume environment
  • Proven solid written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally and provide excellent customer service to brokers, clients, and internal partners
  • Proven high attention to detail, accuracy, and data quality
  • Comfortable learning complex products, processes, and systems quickly
  • Hybrid-based role located in Minnesota with expectation of working 3 days in office or as business requires

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting employer group renewals, new business quoting, RFQs, or broker/client service workflows
  • Experience coordinating work with offshore or shared service resources
  • Familiarity with healthcare, transplant, stop-loss, specialty benefits, or employer-sponsored health benefit products
  • Interest in growing into broader product operations, sales operations, or healthcare product management responsibilities

Why This Role Matters

  • This role supports a high-value, growth-oriented healthcare product with significant renewal and new business volume
  • The Product Analyst will help protect service levels, improve broker and client experience, and reduce execution risk during renewal and quoting cycles
  • The position offers meaningful exposure to product operations, Salesforce-enabled workflows, external stakeholder communication, and new product launch support
  • This is a strong growth opportunity for an early-career professional who can operate independently, learn quickly, and build expertise in a specialized healthcare product environment
