Job Summary:
Seeking a Procurement Specialist to provide tactical procurement support in designated categories, bridging strategy and execution within a hybrid work setting. This role emphasises managing mid-level complexity in sourcing events, negotiations, and supplier coordination to secure cost-effective procurement solutions in compliance with company policies. A successful candidate will contribute to continuous process improvement, support cost optimization initiatives, and ensure effective stakeholder collaboration.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage tactical sourcing and RFx processes in alignment with category strategies.
- Negotiate contracts focusing on competitive pricing, terms, and conditions.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, including onboarding and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to meet procurement requirements and support policy compliance efforts.
Must-Have Skills:
- Experience in RFx events and contract negotiations.
- Proficiency in procurement/ERP systems like PeopleSoft or SharePoint.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
Industry Experience:
Previous experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management, ideally within Supply Chain Management, Business, or Finance domains. CPSM or CIPS certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
