Processing Supervisor - 3rd shift
The Processing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing processing staff, including Batchers, Assistant Batchers, Relief Batchers, and Press Operators. This role manages scheduling and workload distribution while partnering with production to address issues impacting quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise and support Processing Associates during the shift, ensuring clear communication of production schedules, priorities, and expectations
* Oversee blending and production processes, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and GMP standards while identifying and resolving operational issues
* Manage inventory, resources, and production flow to meet output goals, while tracking performance metrics such as waste, efficiency, and safety
* Train, coach, and evaluate team members, enforce policies and compliance (SQF, OSHA, FDA, EPA), and promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Required Skills & Experience:
* Must have 5+ years of manufacturing experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role
* Must have strong knowledge of food safety, quality, and regulatory standards (e.g., SQF, FDA, OSHA), with the ability to analyze data and lead teams effectively
* Must be about to work Monday to Saturday from 10pm to 6:30am
