About the Job

The Process Technician operates and maintains a computer-controlled limestone milling system while ensuring product quality, supporting production, and upholding safety and efficiency standards.

  • Operate and monitor limestone milling systems and related equipment
  • Perform quality testing (XRF, moisture, sizing) to ensure product standards
  • Troubleshoot and maintain equipment through preventive maintenance and repairs
  • Assist with loading trucks and managing material flow using heavy equipment
  • Monitor processes and implement improvements to optimize production
  • Maintain production, quality, and shipping records (including BOLs)
  • Support inventory management and coordinate raw material ordering
  • Uphold safety, housekeeping, and environmental compliance standards

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Experience operating or maintaining industrial equipment
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, holidays, and respond to call-ins
  • Ability to climb ladders/stairs and work at heights

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical Associates Degree
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance
  • Welding and metal fabrication skills
  • Experience with rigging, millwright work, and heavy equipment operation (loader, forklift, telehandler)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with customers, vendors, and teams
  • Self-motivated with a focus on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement
