Job Description:

Compensation: $32.00 an hour - paid weekly

 

Shift Available: Night Shift 7:50 pm - 8:00 am 2-2-3 Schedule

 

Job Overview: 

The Process Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the production process The Process Supervisor will provide overall support ensuring production targets are met efficiently, while maintaining quality standards and adhering to safety protocols. The Process Supervisor will also be responsible for process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. 

 

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in training and developing team members, ensuring best practice adherence safety protocolsFoster positive work environment and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. 
  • Collaborate with the production planning team to ensure efficient scheduling and allocation of resources to meet production targets. 
  • Monitor and track production progress, identifying bottlenecks or issues that may impact productivity, and take appropriate actions to address them. 
  • Ensure that production processes are executed in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines. 
  • Continuously evaluate and analyze the blown film manufacturing process, identifying opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, and efficiency improvement. 
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues, collaborating with maintenance and engineering teams to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. 
  • Implement and monitor process improvement initiatives, ensuring that changes are documented, communicated, and properly trained to the team. 
  • Monitor product quality throughout the production process, ensuring compliance with quality standards and customer specifications. 
  • Investigate and address any quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence. 
  • Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring that all team members adhere to safety protocols and guidelines. 
  • Assist with conducting regular safety inspections, identify potential hazards, and take appropriate actions to maintain a safe working environment. 
  • Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. 
  • All other duties as assigned.

 

Candidate Requirements: 

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in engineering or a related field is preferred. 
  • Substantial Experience in a blown film manufacturing environment. 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. 
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a continuous improvement mindset. 
  • Solid understanding of production planning, quality, and safety protocols. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Computer literate, knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
