KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards

Working knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)

Ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently

Strong and pronounced problem solving and analytical skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

HS Diploma or equivalent

A minimum of 6 years of experience as a process specialist, or equivalent, with a total of 10 years in manufacturing or production

40 hour HAZWOPER certification

Intermediate level of MS Excel and MS Word

Working knowledge of MRPs

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Production environment

Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time

Ability to perform repetitive motion (use of arm-hand steadiness, finger dexterity, manual dexterity for small parts assembly, frequent use)

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

20/20 vision and color vision with or without corrective lenses

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for safeguarding the production processes and ensuring process integrity. Manage the Company chemical inventory.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform pull-down process IAW company requirements

  • Perform Solder paste silk screening on multiple PCB designs

  • Operate Batch and Reflow thermal processing ovens

  • Maintain hazmat area

  • Maintain the temperate logs for all the curing ovens

  • Identify efficiency opportunities for task related processes

  • Provide technical assistance during project implementation; documenting and tracking results

  • Provide technical support to resolve plant process and equipment problems

  • Investigate process problems; provide recommendations and assistance in implementing corrective actions

  • Review process and/or equipment change requests to ensure that proposed changes conform to company technical and safety standards

  • Participate in the root cause analysis investigation of operational incidents and support development of preventive and corrective actions

  • Monitor and maintain the alcohol and degreaser tanks

  • Responsible for all chemicals on the production floor

  • Must have a valid driver's license and good driving history

  • Must be at assigned worksite during assigned hours 100% of time; less PTO, FML/STD/LTD

Other Job Functions

  • Assist in training personnel on safety related topics

  • Assist in purchasing of products and services as needed
