Process Safety Engineer

Qualified candidates will have experience/familiarity in most of the following areas:

• Familiarity with industrial/LNG facility designs,
• Familiarity with applicable process safety standards/good engineering practices,
• Experience and ability to use modeling/PHA software,
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
• Ability to multi-task across different projects and manage time and schedule commitments, 
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite),
• Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills, and
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program.
• Minimum of 10 years related work experience.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities include:

• HAZID/HAZOP/LOPA Study Facilitation
• QRA Studies
• Facility Siting Analysis - Vapor cloud and explosion modeling, Pool fire and jet fire modeling and Asphyxiation modeling
• Building Siting Analysis
• Safety and Security Specifications/Designs
• Process Safety Design Reviews
• Providing process safety services as Owner’s Engineer reviewing EPC Contractor engineering deliverables in the detailed design, procurement, and construction phases,
• Assisting with management of change/PHAs for changes in final design, 
• Communicating effectively in verbal and written form with clients and teammates
