Driven by our unique values, we're showing the world that we can achieve Real Zero.To enable this, we are building a portfolio of technologies through a growing research and development program executed in Innovation Centers across Australia, Europe and the US.An opportunity exists for a driven and organized professional to join Fortescue's Innovation Center in Colorado to help develop next generation solar materials and devices.Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in research and development programs to develop new technologies in the areas of solar and other green energy applicationsCollaborate with team members to drive the design, fabrication, deployment, and testing of next gen solar modulesSupport the Principal Solar and technology development team to ensure technology programs are delivered on time and within budgetQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREDBachelor's degree in science or engineering requiredAdvanced degree in a related field is desirableMaterial science training with semiconductor or solar materials characterization experience highly desirable (especially metrology and QA/QC)Experience with complex, multi-stream data management, analysis & visualization requiredExperience with advanced computational and data science topics preferred (for example master data management, AI/ML, relational databases, programming languages)Experience with engineering analyses preferred (for example techno-economic analysis, supply chain evaluation/management, manufacturing optimization)Ability to work across multi-functional teams and with internal and external partnersSeniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type Full-timeJob function Research, Science, and Quality AssuranceIndustries Biotechnology Research, Services for Renewable Energy, and Data Infrastructure and Analytics#J-18808-Ljbffr
