Job Title: Process Technician
Location: Mebane, NC
Shift: Day Shift 6:30am-7pm 2/2/3
Pay: TBD
Responsibility:
- Responsible for the dough preparation and related tasks in the dough preparation area
- Ensure that ready to use dough is provided in time to the bakery
- Ensure a constant supply of dough into the moulding machines, to ensure efficient and continuous production operations
- Operate and monitor rotary moulder settings to ensure all dough pieces meet required specification including shape and weight
- Supervise the oven settings in order to bake the cookies according to the desired quality parameters and oven output
- Coordinate with packaging: start/stop, change over, etc
- Pro-active attitude towards continuous improvement regarding safety, quality and efficiency
Experience:
- Understand basic technical and electrical terms
- Must be able to perform duties following all regulatory GMP/FSMA food hygiene practices.
- Basic computer and math skills
- Prior Experience in a production setting , ideally in an FDA regulated environment
- Experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment is preferred
- Good communication skills, both written and oral; ability to read and write effectively
- Ability to multi-task and approach tasks with detail-oriented manner
- Aptitude for handling repetitive tasks
