Summary
The Process Operator is responsible for performing physical labor and monitoring equipment and process variables in order to assist in project processing operations. Field tasks include fueling, cleaning, maintaining and monitoring of process equipment housed on a Path jobsite or facility. Position entails operation and monitoring of process equipment, such as pumps, filtration skids, steam boilers, Nitrogen generation equipment and liquid storage vessels to aid in system processing and function. Troubleshooting of all systems and componentry during a project or at a Path facility will be a responsibility of the Process Operator. The Process Operator is responsible for ensuring proper internal system documents are accurate in order to correctly diagnose system issues and provide solutions in terms of adjusting Path equipment and processes. Provides support for each key phase of Path operations (rig up, rig down, CSE tank entry/cleaning, and process operations).
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform visual checks of fluid transfer equipment including, but not limited to, piping, hoses, pumps, and heat exchangers.
Provide valuable input to supervision on how to efficiently segment and execute large scale Processing operations.
Read and comprehend basic processing documents such as processing plans, piping diagrams, plot plans, process flow diagrams and process check sheets.
Able to safely retrieve samples from all process steams and perform novice level laboratory testing.
Able to properly diagnose system issues during documented process rounds as well as sensory rounds.
Execute the cleaning and reinstalling of system filters during the active processing of project.
Maintain an organized inventory of tools and materials and perform auditing of levels for upcoming processing activities.
Ability to stay focused on tasks despite being in an active and complex workplace.
Monitor all utilities equipment and ensure their correct operation within the phase of the project.
Pay close attention to process variables and track trends so that processing plans continue to progress as planned.
Able to accurately gauge tankage and document volume transfers.
Maintain safe operation of all project vehicles and mobile equipment.
Work in appropriate PPE for a variety of areas, including impermeable suits and breathing air apparatus.
Remain engaged and providing value to the team despite facing challenging and demanding work conditions and environments.
Clean equipment, tools, and jobsite on a regular basis to uphold a professional atmosphere.
Provide general labor to support other company workgroups when necessary.

Required Qualifications
Relevant processing experience.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Process Technology or similar degree highly preferred.
Active TWIC card
Active and unrestricted Driver’s License
Pass all company and client background check requirements
Passing grade on training course (>80% score)
Physically able to perform all duties and pass a job specific physical
Must have access to a telephone and reliable transportation
Ability to work at heights
Ability to work in confined spaces

Able to calibrate and zero all system air monitoring equipment
Industrial workplace experience
Piping and hose components and specifications
Mathematical comprehension to be able to calculate dimensions and weights
Additional Notes
Shifts are typically 10-12 hours per day
Operations are often 24 hours per day, and all employees must be willing and able to work night shifts
Operations are not always suspended during holidays or emergencies
Requires outdoor work in variety of environments, including arctic and tropical
Travel requirements are extensive, and often require significant air travel
