This is a 12 hour night shift position. Normally starting at 6Pm- 6am. Working two days on and two days off. Will train on day shift for the first 3+ months.
Job Summary
Responsible for producing a high-quality product by operating and monitoring processes in accordance with established procedures in a manufacturing environment. This role reports to the Production Supervisor and requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor processes and equipment
- Adjust processes as needed and report issues or abnormalities
- Follow production schedules, cleaning (CIP), and raw material procedures
- Perform basic lab checks, record data, and maintain accurate documentation
- Handle and work safely with chemicals, following all safety procedures and SDS guidelines
- Support yeast separation processes and minimize material loss
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and leadership
Qualifications
- High school diploma required;
- 3+ years experience in manufacturing or process industry required
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Basic computer, math, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and forklift certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Comfortable working in a loud, industrial environment with exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and machinery
Starting pay range from $21 an up depending on experience and shift differential.
