SALARY: $27.26/hr. DOE

LOCATION: Forest Grove, OR

SCHEDULE: Full-time; 12-hour shifts | 12:00am-12:00pm
 *Rotating compressed schedule (2-2-3)

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies, ISO 9001/14001/45001 standards, and housekeeping requirements, taking corrective action to maintain a safe, hazard-free work environment.

  • Monitor and control production processes by recording operating parameters, utilizing process control systems, collecting process samples, and maintaining target operating conditions.

  • Perform quality control inspections, identify and report out-of-spec conditions, and maintain accurate operational documentation in accordance with company procedures.

  • Troubleshoot operational issues, perform and verify basic maintenance activities, coordinate with maintenance personnel and vendors, and support equipment reliability initiatives.

  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams during shift handovers, work scheduling, training activities, and emergency response situations to ensure safe and efficient operations.

 
 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • High school diploma or GED required, with at least 2 years of chemical manufacturing experience and experience working in clean room environments.

  • Proficient in chemical handling, PPE compliance, quality systems, and identifying/escalating out-of-specification (OOS) products; able to pass a respirator fit test.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience operating forklifts, using standard production tools, and understanding manufacturing concepts such as production planning, bottleneck management, and time management; trailering experience is a plus.

  • Effective communication and computer skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently, use Microsoft Office applications, maintain a valid driver's license, and demonstrate a strong work ethic and self-motivated approach.
     

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
 This position works in a chemical manufacturing environment, including both indoor and outdoor settings. The role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, work in a clean room environment with PPE requirements, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
