PROCESS / MECHANICAL / PLUMBING ENGINEER – Greenville, SC

JOB SUMMARY:
The Process / Mechanical / Plumbing Engineer provides technical expertise and supports engineering design and project execution for mechanical and process systems. This role performs engineering assignments of moderate complexity within a multi-discipline environment.
The position contributes to planning, design, and construction phases while ensuring compliance with project requirements and applicable standards.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
The engineer plans, organizes, and supports mechanical and process engineering design activities, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams throughout all project phases.
Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing engineering calculations, specifications, and design documentation related to piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), as well as mechanical systems, water systems, and equipment design.
The role supports accurate development of design deliverables and ensures technical requirements are met through coordination with project stakeholders, including engineering teams, project management, vendors, and clients.
Additional responsibilities include participating in procurement support activities, reviewing design calculations, and contributing to construction documentation and field support as needed.
WORK HOURS:
A standard 40-hour work week is expected. Additional schedule details will be provided by the client. Overtime may be required to meet project deliverables.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Education:
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering required.
