Primary Duties

  • Accountability for compliance with and enforcement of all corporate and regulatory HSEP standards and procedures
  • Implements and adheres to the Quality System
  • Executes production schedules as defined by Production Planning
  • Accountable for operational budget
  • Ensures compliance with labor agreement. Resolves worker grievances or submits unsettled grievances to Human Resource Manager for action.
  • Provides information and feedback to the Order Management and Supply Chain processes
  • Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
  • Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.
  • Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Responsible for reporting production and quality data accurately and timely.
  • Approves time and attendance for all direct reports

  • Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization in an open, clear and consistent manner; invites response/dissent.
  • Ability to leverage the talent and unique contributions of every individual to increase effectiveness of the manufacturing facility
  • Actively supports teamwork and information sharing across all business lines
  • Knowledge of corporate policies, procedures, local laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes

Engineering degree

Working Conditions

Work in variety of environments - laboratories, plant, and office. Employee must be able to walk, traverse various levels, climb ladders and steps, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and work at heights. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Be able to talk and hear. Be able to differentiate between colors and color codes. Position requires ability to travel occasionally.
