Process & Maintenance Technologist (I–II)

Where: Brownsburg & Whitestown, IN

What’s different here? A fast-scaling manufacturer is transforming building materials with recycled, 100% safe inputs—delivered at true production scale. They’re well-funded, customer-backed, and building their maintenance bench with intention.

Is this you?

  • Do you take machines apart mentally before you touch a wrench?
  • Do you prefer solving root causes over band-aid fixes?
  • Do you want more than a shift—real growth into senior tech, engineering support, or leadership?

If so, you’ll partner with production, engineering, and site leadership to keep complex systems reliable while improving them over time. You’ll operate by the values of Purpose, Integrity, Progress, and Collaboration.

How the role is structured

Positions are tiered MT1–MT4. As a Level I–II technologist, you’ll support, maintain, and optimize production equipment and facility systems.

Level I — your core contributions

  • Operate machinery, vehicles (forklifts), and hand tools safely to standard
  • Conduct basic PM: lubrication, belt checks/adjustments, scheduled inspections
  • Move materials using appropriate equipment
  • Stage inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods
  • Load and unload materials/products
  • Assist senior technicians during maintenance and repair tasks
  • Maintain industrial cleanliness and organized work areas

Level II — where you level up

Everything in Level I, plus:

  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance that directly impacts downtime
  • Troubleshoot and replace motors and mechanical assemblies
  • Use manuals, schematics, and documentation to isolate faults
  • Control process variables: temperature, viscosity, metering, sequencing, material flow
  • Detect and prevent conditions that cause seizing or mechanical failure

What you bring

  • Mechanical aptitude and pride in workmanship
  • Proven troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capability
  • Independence and initiative
  • Willingness to support weekends and rotating shifts
  • Can‑do attitude in a fast-moving production environment

Minimum qualifications

  • 1–5+ years of relevant manufacturing or maintenance experience (commensurate with level)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Engineering-related education or experience is a strong plus

Pay, benefits, and growth

  • Competitive hourly compensation based on level and experience
  • Employer-paid benefits at time of hire
  • Potential stock options upon direct hire
  • Rapid advancement as the operation scales

Schedule

  • Sunday–Wednesday, 6:00 A–6:30 P
  • Wednesday–Saturday, 6:00 A–6:30 P
