Position Purpose:
The Process Lead for Assets is responsible for overseeing, planning, and executing the daily activities of the assets located at Pod 4. The Process Lead will review daily priorities and work requirements and plan based on capacity, demand, and critical completion dates. The Process Lead, working along with the Production Technicians, are charged with executing the return processing of items returning from rentals. They separate and scan in rental items and return them to proper departments while also helping to recycle/reuse custom items. They check through discrepancies and report back on missing/damaged items.
Responsibilities:
- Support and participate in the plant’s safety process.
- Satisfactory delivery of control systems to integration.
- Coordinating the daily schedules for team members.
- Daily task prioritization for the rentals team
- Checking in and verifying return of rental items using RentalWorks database.
- Distribution of returned items to proper depts/locations.
- Perform basic quality control and maintenance of some items.
- Loading and unloading of company and external providers trucks and vehicles.
- Disassembly and distribution of custom items to recycling/reuse/consignment.
- Follow through with missing items to verify accuracy in missing items reports.
- Communication with management on missing and damaged items upon return.
- Maintain tools, work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion.
- Maintain a safe working environment and follow safe working practices.
- Identify and propose ideas and solutions to improve the build quality or efficiency.
- Use Rentalworks or other asset management systems to keep current and accurate records.
- Responsible for all direct employee’s time management, and training. Provides insight to People Leader around performance and corrective actions
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Attend meetings, seminars, and training sessions as required.
- Perform assigned duties according to the policies and expectations prescribed by the company.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience with Welding techniques
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, factory or rentals environment
- Knowledge of equipment used in entertainment stagging preferred
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is required to frequently walk, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, stoop, and kneel each day. Specific requirements are:
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift or move 50 lbs.
- Must be able to carry 50 lbs.
- Must be able to pull or push 50 lbs
Work conditions of the role are:
- Work conditions may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements such as dirt, dust, fumes, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
- Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks which require following basic safety precautions.
