What we are looking for:
Education
University degree in business or a technical-related field with a minimum of five (5) years pertinent experience or equivalent education and experience.
Experience
Must have five (5) years' experience pertinent to leading and/or assisting with the development, facilitation, and implementation of a broad range of continuous improvement initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Demonstrated cross-functional leadership skills, and outstanding communication, training and facilitation skills;
Strong analytical skills, able to evaluate issues and generate effective solutions, recommendations and effectiveness measures.
Strong risk management and prioritization skills.
Demonstrated proficiency working with teams/projects.
Abiilty to maintain a positive outlook, and has the ability to motivate and expedite others.
Superior planning and organization skills.
Ability to be involved in a range of activities, from routine functions to complex assignments requiring initiative, and prioritize effectively within a dynamic work environment.
Self-motivated, disciplined and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Strong proficiency in MS Office Applications.
Broad understanding of the programs and standards that govern mission activities , and a strong commitment to quality principles.
Knowledge of CNL's management system and organizational structure, work processes and technology, Corporate QA Programs, and applicable standards is an asset.
Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate issues and generate effective solutions, recommendations and effectiveness measures for organizational management.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including training, presentation and facilitation skills.
Knowledge, experience or training in the requirements of project management is a definite asset
Preference will be given to certified Lean/Six Sigma Green and Black Belts, or equivalent (Lean Sensei), with facilitation experience and training in Lean/Six Sigma continuous improvement methodologies.
Security Clearance Eligibility Required
Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3-5 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and/or the United Kingdom. CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat''''s "Standard on Security Screening" and the "Policy on Government Security."
