Process Engineer Technician
Volt is immediately hiring multiple Process Engineer Technicians in Fremont, CA.
As a Process Engineer Technician, you will:
- A process engineering technician works at manufacturing facilities where he/she provides technical support to engineers to improve production operations.
- Their responsibilities include performing document control, rack/server label, fixture audit, label maker creation, training operations, and other PR supporting items
- Providing technical support to all projects.
- Assist process engineer with developing and maintaining Standard Operator Procedures (SOP), BOM, and CRD for the manufacturing line process/Train all manufacturing technicians and operators on SOP.
- Analyze and conduct a time study to increase production line efficiency with quality output.
- Help process engineer training and maintaining training matrixes for production line technicians and operators/Train and test the line technicians and operators routinely to ensure that their skill set qualifications are up to date.
- Weekly screwdriver torque calibration and fixture preventive maintenance record.
- Daily audit fixtures on production floor and replace screw bit if necessary.
- Support Process Engineer for deploying solutions for quality improvement.
This is a full-time, long-term opportunity.
Schedule: Monday - Friday - 8am to 4:45pm
The ideal candidate will have:
- Knowledge of server manufacturing assembly packing process
- Detailed oriented, able to concentrate on the work assigned
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers and or managers.
- Ability to provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production
- Strong listening oral and written communication skills. Ability to motivate.
- Able to plan, assist management with directing and delegating work to subordinate.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills as well as administrative management skills.
- Able to exemplify professional behavior in all aspects of their position.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel (as a tool for data analyst), Word and Outlook.
- High school diploma with server related field experience
- Proficiency in Office suite and Microsoft applications, highly preferred.
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
