You will uphold quality and compliance standards, achieving and maintaining certifications like Nadcap, ISO 9001, and AS9100. Your role extends to supporting audits and facilitating root cause analyses and corrective measures. Continuous improvement efforts will see you championing Lean and Six Sigma projects aimed at waste reduction and cycle time efficiency.
As you support the introduction of new products, your tasks will encompass process trials, validations, and preparation for initial inspections and readiness stages. Maintaining meticulous documentation, tracking key performance indicators, and ensuring alignment with customer and internal protocols are essential elements of your role.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with over five years in aerospace or a regulated manufacturing sector, and has expertise in processes such as thermal spray and chemical coatings. You will have demonstrated problem-solving capabilities, the ability to thrive in a production setting, and ideally, experience with Nadcap audits, Lean methodologies, and ERP systems.
