Description

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team. As a Process Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Production and Quality teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Process Engineer

Location: Seymour, Connecticut

Pay Range: $105,000 - $135,000

Schedule:

  • 1st Shift 

  • 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM 

What's the Job?

  • Conduct root cause analysis on failures, identify solutions, and implement preventive measures.
  • Participate in Tech and Design Reviews of existing and new product introductions (NPI).
  • Evaluate and procure new equipment, and perform product and process validations.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to develop preventive maintenance plans.
  • Provide technical support to customers on design and manufacturability issues.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SMT, PCBA, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Experience with NPI processes and familiarity with contract manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and specification sheets proficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
