We are making a positive impact and we want you to be a part of it!The Process Engineer I will provide support in optimizing productivity and sustainability of EV battery production through high level of technical knowledge while ensuring stable mass production quality & process downtime (PD) improvement through recipe setting, spec aligning, process capability management, and high-quality defect improvement based on a technical understanding of the process and equipment.Responsibilities:Analyze productivity, yield and overall equipment efficiency (OEE) of assigned process and departmentWork with engineers and operators to troubleshoot machines to ensure highest yield and OEEAnalyze quality issues to provide corrective actionsImprove production processes by creating various SOPs and train operators to ensure understanding and correct implementation to floorEnsure compliance with health/safety/environmental/fire regulationsOptimize spec and process conditionsCreate process flow diagram (PFD), process failure mode and effects analysis (PFMEA) and control plan (CP)Chronic defect improvement activitiesProduction/development model dissemination and 4M change verificationPerform MOST analysis for production processes and facilitate continuous improvementConduct internal and customer auditsNon-conformance report handling and improvementResponse to internal/external quality issues for the customerEstablishment and revision of PFD, PF ManualMaintain cleanliness at worksite in accordance with 5S3R standards: sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain; right location, right quantity, right containerPerform other duties as assigned.Education/Experience:Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Engineering Technology or equivalent related experience0 to 3+ years of experience in manufacturing related job or equivalent relevant experienceManufacturing co-op experience preferred but not requiredKnowledge/skills:Battery production related knowledge preferred but not requiredProficient in Microsoft Office suiteSix Sigma or Lean manufacturing knowledge preferred but not requiredCAD Software (AutoCad, Solidworks, Catia, etc.) experience preferred but not requiredPositive attitude, open minded, and team playerStrong self-motivation and desire to work in a manufacturing environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and solve complex problemsStrong technical analysis and troubleshooting skillsAbility to manage projects and schedulesKorean language proficiency a plusAdditional requirements:Comply with company personal protective equipment (PPE) requirementsAble to work in both office and manufacturing environmentsHands-on support of equipmentPrompt and regular attendance within our onsite operationsFlexibility to work adjusted shifts as necessaryThis role requires up to 10% of travel (domestic and/or international)Are you ready to join us in our journey toward a better world?
