This role operates as “boots on the ground” within the manufacturing environment, working directly with production teams to ensure processes are clearly defined, effectively executed, and continuously improved.

The Process Engineer plays a key role in enhancing process stability, improving throughput, and supporting operational excellence through data-driven analysis, structured problem solving, and hands-on collaboration with shop floor teams.

What you will do?

  • The position identifies and leads process improvement initiatives, moving projects from concept through implementation to improve productivity, quality, and on-time delivery. The Process Engineer evaluates manufacturing performance by analyzing cycle times, TAKT time, and workflow constraints, identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies within production operations.
  • This role develops, maintains, and improves work instructions, process specifications, and standard operating procedures to support safe, repeatable, and efficient production. The Process Engineer works directly on the shop floor to assess process stability, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and throughput.
  • The position collaborates with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements, supporting corrective actions and continuous improvement efforts. The Process Engineer also supports training initiatives by helping production staff understand process fundamentals, assembly sequences, inspection requirements, and process control expectations.
  • Additionally, the role contributes to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) objectives by incorporating safe work practices into process design and continuous improvement efforts. Other duties may be assigned to support operational and organizational goals.
