Job Description:
Process Development Engineer
Huntsman is seeking a Process Development Engineer supporting the ADMAT Division located at the McIntosh Site. This position will report to the Site PD Manager.
The Process Development Engineer is in charge of independently managing Process Development mandates (short-term sub-projects or longer-term business projects/programs) to support New Product Introduction (NPI), Manufacturing improvement initiatives, and process safety incidents with consideration of PSM/EHS knowledge requirements. The position requires management of accountabilities and sharing knowledge, experience, and practices across the global process development organization.

Key Competencies:
The job holder has a critical technical role on site and can be faced with solving complex technical situations, often including EHS and Quality dimensions, whilst under considerable time pressure, and therefore must maintain high integrity and professional standards.
This position may require some involvement with materials regulated under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). This involvement may require an understanding of applicable rules and procedures associated with RCRA waste. A combination of training methods, e.g., Computer-based Training, Classroom, and/or On-the-job training, will be provided prior to any such involvement with RCRA-regulated waste.
