We are looking for a Process Controls Engineer to execute projects to maintain and improve automated control systems within operating facilities. This position will be full-time, hybrid, and a 6–12-month contract.
What You’ll Do
Collaborate with multi-discipline engineering project teams and production staff
Implement system expansions and obsolescence replacement projects
Execute Allen Bradley PLC5 upgrades to CLX5000
Execute Allen Bradley SLC500 upgrades to CLX5000
Siemens PCS7 HMI version upgrade and Controller Upgrades
TIA Portal version upgrades to v20
Travel to site locations for installation checkout and system commissioning
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues
Ensure compliance with safety, cybersecurity, and quality standards
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Control Engineering or related field
Experience with automated control systems
Strong technical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to travel 20-40%, mainly in the Americas, mostly US domestic (East to West Coast)
Preferred:
Familiarity with Allen Bradley systems (PLC5, CLX5000, SLC500)
Experience with Siemens PCS7 and TIA Portal systems
Knowledge of system commissioning processes
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

$50-$54 per hourThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
