Job Summary:

Be the captain of the Cascade! As a Process Area Manager at Centrus Energy, you'll lead the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of our UF6 processes-from centrifuge assembly and testing to utilities, storage, and beyond. You'll guide a team of supervisors, keep plant systems running smoothly, and have the authority to hit pause when safety calls. If you thrive on leadership, safety, and big-picture operations, this role puts you at the center of it all.

What you will Do:

Step into the heart of Centrus Energy's operations as a Process Area Manager and take the lead in keeping our Cascade processes safe, compliant, and running at their best. You'll oversee everything from UF6 receipt, storage, and transport, to centrifuge assembly, testing, and eventual decommissioning-all while making sure plant utilities, facility surveillances, and shift operations stay on track. You'll direct a talented team of supervisors, guide integrated planning and scheduling, ensure compliance with regulations, and have the authority to stop operations if safety is ever in doubt. In short: you'll be the go-to leader ensuring our operations run smoothly, safely, and smartly.

We'd Love to Hear from People With:

  • An associate's degree in Physical Sciences, Engineering, Business, or Project Management (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial, chemical, or nuclear plant operations, maintenance, engineering, or support
  • 1+ year of supervisory experience in a related industry
  • Must possess or obtain and maintain a "Q" Clearance

A Successful Candidate Brings:

  • A bachelor's degree in Physical Sciences or Engineering
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in a related industry
  • Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives or corrective actions
  • A strong sense of accountability for safe operations
  • Strategic planning expertise and sharp business acumen
  • Currently holding an active Q-level security clearance
