Probation Clerk

The City of Leavenworth is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a full-time Probation Clerk to provide essential clerical support to both the Municipal Court and Probation Services divisions. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail while effectively interacting with clients, public agencies, and the general public.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to type at least 35 WPM.
  • One year of office experience involving heavy public contact, OR six months of experience in legal, law enforcement, corrections, or government setting.
  • One year of experience with computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle high-stress situations, constant interruptions, and confrontational public complaints.
  • Ability to meet all scheduled work hours consistently.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license throughout employment and meet city fleet insurance eligibility standards.

Starting Salary Range: $34,768-$43,460
