Job Summary and Qualifications The PRN Simulation Specialist functions as an educational and clinical resource for Perinatal Outreach Program. Educational services include the implementation and instruction of established curriculum designed to meet the needs of the identified service facilities. The educator will function as a liaison to facilitate perinatal healthcare for client, patient, and their families, or participant of health issues related to women and children.
Responsibilities: • Travel to and from facilities. • Loading and unloading supplies. • Staying up to date on current evidence and research. • Simulation specialists may also be asked to assist with some administrative duties, including: • Confirming appointments and meetings. • Maintaining and managing outreach inventory and supplies. • Performing clerical duties.
Qualifications Bachelors degree preferred. Active RN in the state of practice. Certification in area of specialty required within 6 months of hire. Minimum experience in NICU, OBGYN, pediatrics, or womens health care. Experience with group dynamics, public speaking, and/or public relations preferred. Experience working with IT, audiovisual, and digital media preferred.
