Position Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse, under the direction of the Registered Nurse, provides direct age-specific care to selected patients and performs selected activities, utilizing the Resident Assessment Instrument and the Nursing process based on delegation by the Registered Nurse.

Education
- Graduate of nursing program
Experience
License/Registration/Certifications
- Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in South Carolina

Core Job Responsibilities
- When a Registered Nurse is not scheduled on the Subacute unit, the Licensed Practical Nurse acts as the charge nurse under the supervision of the nursing coordinator or the Registered Nurse on call
- Must be able to provide and understand the specific communication, developmental, treatment needs of patients, staff and others coming into the hospital facilities and visitors ranging in age from early adult to late adult.
