OnDeck Healthcare Staffing is seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) for PRN opportunities within a nationally recognized pediatric specialty hospital in the Dayton area. This role offers the opportunity to work with children and families in a collaborative, patient-centered environment dedicated to delivering exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in accordance with established standards and physician orders
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary care team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
• Support a culture of safety, compassion, and family-centered care

Qualifications

Required:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills

Preferred:

• Pediatric nursing experience
• PALS certification
• Experience in specialty hospital, acute care, rehabilitation, orthopedic, surgical, or pediatric settings
