About the Role:
Cornerstone Innovations Healthcare DBA Caring Touch is seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for a PRN contractor position providing in-home care services in Newport News, VA and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for nurses who value flexibility, independence, and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a home setting.

$500 sign-on bonus over 6 months, 1st payment after 30 days of active service
$500 client referral bonus (after referred client remains active for 30 days)
$75.00 per assessment
Mileage reimbursement for use of personal vehicle

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care in patients’ homes
Provide medication reminders and administer treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and report changes
Collaborate with physicians and care teams to implement care plans
Educate patients and families on health management and wellness
Assist with basic procedures and ensure patient comfort
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EHR systems
Uphold patient confidentiality and compliance standards

Qualifications

Active RN or LPN license in the state of Virginia
Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience (preferred)
Current CPR certification
Bloodborne Pathogen (BBP) certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and adapt in a home care environment
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Additional Requirements

Successful completion of background check
Drug screening
TB screening
