Position Overview

Brooklyn Brewery is opening a new flagship hospitality and cultural space in Williamsburg in Summer 2026. The Private Event Sales & Production Manager will lead and oversee the private events program across a multi-floor, multi-use venue that includes semi-private gatherings, full buyouts, rooftop events, corporate programming, weddings, and large-format receptions.

This role is not a traditional event sales position. The Private Event Sales & Production Manager functions as a department head within an integrated hospitality operation, working closely with Kitchen Operations, Bar Operations, and Partnerships & Programming to deliver a cohesive guest experience and a profitable private events program.

The private events program exists to support a live hospitality and event venue. Public service, brand programming, and private events operate simultaneously, and the department must be structured to manage sales, production planning, and execution without disrupting daily operations.

The successful candidate is an operational revenue leader capable of managing a

multi-million-dollar sales pipeline, overseeing full client lifecycle execution, and building systems that ensure consistency, profitability, and cross-department alignment.

Core Responsibilities


Department Leadership & Operations

Lead and oversee the Private Event Operations department Manage event sales pipeline, forecasting, and revenue pacing

Supervise Sales Associates and Event Managers as the department grows Establish organizational structure, workflow systems, and communication standards

Create scalable systems for inquiry management, contracting, and internal event execution Develop clear handoff procedures between sales and operations teams

Lead weekly cross-department production meetings for upcoming events


Revenue Strategy & Sales Leadership

Own annual private event revenue targets and monthly pacing goals

Manage inbound and outbound sales efforts across corporate, wedding, and social markets Maintain and refine pricing structures, rental models, and minimums aligned with Hospitality leadership

Monitor booking mix and optimize for margin performance


Forecast revenue performance and identify opportunities to increase average contract value Partner with Marketing and Partnerships to generate qualified leads

Client Lifecycle Management

Oversee inquiry intake, qualification, proposal development, and contract negotiation

Guide clients through menu selection, beverage packages, room configurations, and timeline planning

Ensure contracts, deposits, and payment schedules are executed accurately and on time Maintain CRM integrity and reporting accuracy across all booked and tentative business Act as senior escalation point for complex client needs

Event Production & Cross-Department Collaboration

Translate signed contracts into detailed internal production documents and BEOs Coordinate with Kitchen Director on event menus, staffing, and execution logistics Collaborate with Bar Operations on beverage packages and staffing models

Align with Partnerships & Programming on activations and brand-led events

Ensure simultaneous public service and private events operate without operational conflict Troubleshoot event-day service, staffing, and guest experience challenges

Financial Management & Profitability

Own private event revenue pacing and forecasting

Develop and maintain margin-aware pricing in collaboration with Hospitality leadership Track realized revenue performance against budget

Align event mix with labor and operational capacity

Contribute to annual revenue planning and long-term growth strategy


Leadership Expectations

Act as a cross-department partner to Kitchen Operations, Bar Operations, and Partnerships & Programming

Participate in weekly operational leadership meetings

Contribute to overall guest experience strategy, not just event revenue Build a collaborative and professional sales culture

Mentor Sales Associates and Event Managers into future leaders

Accept variable sales cycles and event-driven scheduling as a core function of the role


Qualifications

5 7+ years experience in private event sales and production or similar role Experience managing high-volume or multi-space venues preferred Demonstrated success carrying significant revenue targets

Strong financial literacy including forecasting and margin awareness Experience with Tripleseat or similar event CRM platforms


Experience opening or scaling a venue preferred

Comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional hospitality environment

Compensation & Benefits
